Idealism Through Service

A NON-PROFIT EMPOWERMENT PODCAST SERIES

Led by Jim Eskin, Fundraising Trainer/Consultant

Since its founding in 1961, the Peace Corps has profoundly reflected Abraham Lincoln’s “better angels of our nature” of America to the rest of the world. Dan Baker, President and CEO, National Peace Corps Association, has lived these ideals in virtually every capacity including serving as a volunteer in Bolivia and Timor Leste. He continued on to a 13-year career at Peace Corps in various staff and consultant roles, both in the field and in the Washington, D.C. headquarters office. In 2023, he began current responsibilities as President & CEO of the NPCA. Leading a united and vibrant community of 240,00+ including current and returned volunteers, current and former staff, host country nationals, family and friends with a shining mission to uphold Peace Corps ideals and advance Peace Corps-inspired initiatives. Learn from a personal first-hand perspective on a proud American tradition that has touched, improved and saved more lives around the world.
